China’s fixed asset investments up 17.6 percent in March

In March of the current year, total fixed asset investments (excluding rural households) in China amounted to RMB 6.8322 trillion ($1.115 trillion), up 17.6 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on April 16, with the year-on-year increase rate in question down 0.3 percentage points compared to that recorded in the January-February period this year.
 
In March this year, total fixed asset investment in China's mining sector amounted to RMB 150 billion ($24.47 billion), up 12.1 percent year on year, while fixed asset investment in China's manufacturing sector totaled RMB 2.3582 trillion ($0.385 trillion), up 15.2 percent year on year.
