China’s finished steel exports up 8.5 percent in January-July

In July this year, China exported 10.30 million mt of finished steel, down 5.85 percent month on month and increasing by 5.86 percent year on year, while the finished steel export volume in the January-July period of the current year totaled 67.41 million mt, up 8.5 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on August 8.

In July this year, China exported 1.10 million mt of metallurgical coke, up 340,000 mt or 44.7 percent month on month and increasing by 50.7 percent year on year. In the January-July period, China’s coke exports totaled 5.85 million mt, increasing by 10.8 percent year on year.
