China’s crude steel output totals 60.21 million mt in June

China's National Bureau of Statistics has stated that Chinese domestic crude steel production in June this year totaled 60.21 million mt, up 0.6 percent year on year. In addition, average daily crude steel production in China in June amounted to 2.007 million mt, up 31,800 mt compared to May this year. Meanwhile, China's domestic crude steel production in the first half of the current year totaled 357.20 million mt, up 1.8 percent year on year.
 
In June, domestic pig iron and finished steel outputs in China reached 55.72 million mt and 84.47 million mt respectively, up 1.1 percent and 6.7 percent on year-on-year basis. In the January-June period, domestic pig iron and finished steel outputs totaled 334.04 million mt and 467.44 million mt, up 2.9 percent and 6.1 percent year on year.
