China’s crude steel output totals 200.1 million mt in Q1

In March, China's pig iron, crude steel and finished steel outputs amounted to 60.25 million mt, 69.48 million mt and 97.56 million mt, down 2.4 percent, down 1.2 percent and up 3.6 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In the first quarter of the year, China's pig iron, crude steel and finished steel outputs amounted to 176.54 million mt, 200.10 million mt and 266.40 million mt, down 2.3 percent, decreasing by 1.7 percent and rising by 2.5 percent year on year, respectively.
