China’s coal exports down 35.1 percent in January-July

On August 10, the Chinese customs authorities announced China's export data for coal (including brown coal) for July and the January-July period of the current year.
 
Accordingly, in July this year China's overall coal export volume totaled 500,000 mt up 6.38 percent or 30,000 mt month on month but down 45.05 percent year on year. In January-July, China's overall coal exports amounted to 6.28 million mt, down 35.1 percent compared to the same period of last year.
