China’s average daily crude steel output totals 1,965,000 mt in late June

The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) has stated that in late June (June 21-30) this year average daily production of crude steel by the large and medium-sized steel enterprises in China which are members of the CISA totaled 1.65 million mt, down 0.32 percent compared to mid-June (June 11-20). In late June, the average daily crude steel production of all steelmakers in China amounted to 1.965 million mt, with a decline of 0.78 percent compared with mid-June.

In the full month of June, the average daily production of crude steel in China was 1.966 million mt, down from 1.975 million mt in May, indicating a decrease of 0.46 percent month on month.
