China Shenhua Energy’s coal sales up 22.9 percent in January-May

Chinese coal miner China Shenhua Energy Company, a listed subsidiary of Shenhua Group - the largest coal company in China, has announced that in May this year its coal output amounted to 24.10 million mt, up 7.6 percent, while its coal sales totaled 33.70 million mt, increasing by 17.4 percent, both year on year.

In the January-May period of the current year, China Shenhua Energy’s coal output totaled 126.6 million mt, rising by 8.2 percent, while its coal sales reached 182.2 million mt, increasing by 22.9 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
