China Shenhua Energy’s coal sales up 22.5 percent in Q1

China Shenhua Energy Company, a listed subsidiary of Shenhua Group - the largest coal company in China, has announced that in March this year its coal output amounted to 27.5 million mt, up 11.3 percent, while its coal sales totaled 41.7 million mt, decreasing by 13.8 percent, both year on year.

In the January-March period of the current year, China Shenhua Energy’s coal output totaled 78 million mt, rising by 9.4 percent, while its coal sales reached 113.3 million mt, increasing by 22.5 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
