China Shenhua Energy’s coal sales down 15.1 percent in January-July

China Shenhua Energy Company, a listed subsidiary of Shenhua Group - the largest coal 
company in China, has announced that its coal output in July this year amounted to 24.30 million mt, down 9.7 percent year on year - the 11th consecutive year-on-year decrease in output, while its coal sales volume amounted to 34.50 million mt, up 124 percent year on year.

In the January-July period this year, China Shenhua Energy’s coal output totaled 163.7 million mt, down 10 percent, while its coal sales volume amounted to 212.3 million mt, decreasing by 15.1 percent, both year on year.
