China Shenhua Energy’s coal output down 11.3 percent in Jan-Apr

China Shenhua Energy Company, a listed subsidiary of Shenhua Group - the largest coal company in China, has announced that its coal output in April this year amounted to 23 million mt, down five percent year on year - the eighth consecutive year-on-year decrease, while decreasing by 0.43 percent month on month. In the first four months of the current year, China Shenhua Energy Company's coal output amounted to 92.30 million mt, down 11.3 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, China Shenhua Energy Company sold 31.20 million mt of coal in April, down 20.6 percent year on year, while rising by 22.8 percent month on month. In the first four months of the current year, its coal sales volume amounted to 104 million mt, down 30.1 percent year on year.
