China issues pipe output results for April

In April this year, China's output of seamless steel pipe reached 2.12 million mt, up by 450,000 mt or 27 percent year on year, with average daily output of 70,600 mt, up by 3,900 mt or 5.78 percent month on month; total output of the product from January to April was 7.385 million mt, up by 760,000 mt or 11.5 percent year on year.
 
Meanwhile, the country's output of welded steel pipe in the given month reached 2.93 million mt, up by 450,000 mt or 18 percent year on year, with average daily output of 97,800 mt, up by 5,100 mt or 5.49 percent month on month; total output of the product from January to April was 9.94 million mt, up by 1.59 million mt or 19 percent year on year.
