Shaanxi Province-based Chinese pipemaker Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe Co. has announced that a shipment consisting of its CT80 coiled tubes in diameters of 38.1 mm and 44.45 mm is now on its way to the Middle East. The shipment marks the first time CT80 coiled tubes have been exported from China.

CT80 coiled tubes are mainly applied in the oilfield drilling activities.

In June 2009, Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe produced the product in question for the first time. To date, apart from Baoji Petroleum Steel Pipe, just a few producers in Japan and France can manufacture this kind of product.
