China Coal Energy’s coal sales down 5.6 percent in January-August

Chinese coal company China Coal Energy Company Limited (China Coal Energy) has announced that in August this year its coal output amounted to 6.49 million mt, increasing by 1.9 percent, while its coal sales volume totaled 11.44 million mt, down 10.5 percent, both year on year.

In the January-August period of this year, China Coal Energy’s coal output amounted to 51.57 million mt, decreasing by 3.6 percent, while its coal sales totaled 84.17 million mt, down 5.6 percent, both year on year.
