China's Ministry of Commerce issued an expiry notice dated 15 January with regard to antidumping duties on several products, stating that the antidumping duties would no longer be in effect starting from the expiry date, unless an application for expiry review is submitted in writing by any domestic industry or any natural person and legal person representing any domestic industry or any related organization to the Ministry of Commerce 90 days before the expiry date and unless an expiry review is initiated by the Ministry of Commerce before the expiry date. The antidumping duties may be prolonged if the review confirms that termination of the duties may cause continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury.

In the announcement, there is only one type of steel product. Accordingly, in 2003, China announced antidumping orders on cold rolled stainless coil imported from Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, South Korea, and Taiwan (tariff codes: 72091500, 72091600, 72091700, 72091800, 72092500, 72092600, 72092700, 72092800, 72099000, 72112300, 72112900, 72119000), due to expire on September 23, 2008.
