Chilean rebar sales decline in September

Chilean rebar sales in September declined 14.4 percent, month-on-month, and 18.1 percent, year-on-year, according to data released by the nation’s civil construction chamber, CChC.

According to CChC, Chilean rebar shipments in September reached 39,577 mt, down from 46,249 mt in August this year and 48,317 mt in September last year. September’s rebar shipments represented the segment’s fourth lowest volume in the year so far, from January to September.

In the cumulative period of January to September, Chilean rebar sales totaled 373,724 mt, 17.4 percent down, year-on-year.
