Chilean rebar sales up nearly 20 percent in July

Chilean rebar sales in July rose nearly 20 percent, year-on-year, to 46,565 mt, the country’s civil construction chamber, CChC, said on Thursday.
 
According to CChC, local rebar sales in July increased 5.7 percent, month-on-month, reaching the year’s second highest volume so far, just below March’s 48,526 mt shipments.
 
As for the accumulative period of January to July, Chilean rebar sales totaled 311,662 mt, 8.3 percent up, year-on-year.
