Chengdu Steel & Vanadium’s pig iron output totals 514,000 mt in April

Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Pangang Group has announced that its Sichuan-based subsidiary Chengdu Steel & Vanadium Co. produced 514,000 mt of pig iron in April. Meanwhile, in April the main technological indexes at the company including sintered ore output per hour reached all-time records, laying a solid foundation for reducing production costs.
