Chengde Steel's finished steel exports up 11 percent in January

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group has stated that its Hebei-based subsidiary Chengde Iron and Steel Co. exported a total of 51,000 mt of finished steel products in January of the current year, up 11 percent year on year. The finished products in question included rebar, wire rod, thin specifications of coil/sheet, and checkered plate.
 
Hebei Steel Group also announced that in January this year its subsidiary Hengshui Strip Processing Co. exported 5,890 mt of steel products, up 20.45 percent year on year. Tinplate accounted for over 68 percent of the total export volume.
