Chen Deming, the minster of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOC), has said at an economic and trade forum in Hong Kong that the US debt crisis will cause a slowdown in the growth rate of exports from China.

Accordingly, Mr. Chen said the increase rate of overall Chinese exports will slow down in the second half of this year. He added that the value and volume of export orders had already slowed down somewhat, especially in the Zhujiang and Yangtze delta areas.
