Changzhi Steel’s sintering business posts good performance in Jan

According to Beijing-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Group, although facing with the production troubles causing by the seasonal factors, the sintering division of its Shanxi-based subsidiary Changzhi Iron and Steel Co. (Changzhi Steel) produced 420,700 mt of iron ore agglomerate in January, achieving its monthly production target despite difficulties caused by seasonal factors.

In addition, the net profit posted by Changzhi Steel's sintering business for January amounted to RMB 2.75 million ($430,000).
