Changzhi Steel develops high strength steel bolts for mining safety

According to Beijing-based Chinese steelmaker Shougang Group, the one million mt annual capacity bar line of its Shanxi-based subsidiary Changzhi Iron and Steel Co. (Changzhi Steel) has successfully produced MG335, MG400 and MG500 grade 22 mm diameter high strength steel bolts for strengthening and safety applications in mining.

Due to its characteristics of high strength and seismic resistance, the products in question are widely used for safety purposes by coal mining enterprises.
