Centaurus Metals has announced that it has submitted Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) documents to SUPRAM, the environmental authority of State of Minas Gerais regarding its Jambreiro
iron ore project in Minas Gerais,
Brazil.
Centaurus expects to receive approval for the EIA documents and grant of a preliminary license for the project in October 2012, with the first
iron ore scheduled to be produced from Jambreiro by the end of 2013.
In October 2011, Centaurus announced that the JORC compliant resource estimate for the Jambreiro
iron ore project totaled 116.5 million mt, grading 26.8 percent Fe.
