Carpenter Technology increases prices

According to recent industry news, US specialty alloys and engineered products producer Carpenter Technology has recently announced that it will increase the prices of billets, coil and bar products to be in effect as of February 1, 2004. The increase will be 3-8%, with the addition of surcharges. The implementation of surcharges and the hike in the prices are attributed to the increase in raw material prices and costs.
