Canadian tubing company Solaris Industries to build first US plant in North Carolina

International steel tubing manufacturer Solaris Industries Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Canadian based Delhi Solac Inc., Wednesday announced it will be moving to a new plant in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.  The Canada-based company said the new facility is needed in order to better serve an expanding US market..

"We are very excited to open our first manufacturing facility in the US. We chose North Carolina and Cleveland County over other areas in light of its strategic location to serve our growing customer base, its excellent access to transportation, and what is known as a qualified labor pool," said Denis Boulais, president and CEO of Solaris' parent company, Delhi-Solac Inc.New Cleveland Co. produces steel tubing for use in fencing, furniture, store displays, greenhouses, recreational equipment, restaurant and hospital equipment, the automotive industry, scaffolding, mechanical applications and garbage doors.
