Canadian and US steel service center shipments decrease in April

According to a report Thursday from the Metals Service Center Institute, US service center steel shipments decreased in April by 9.0 percent from April 2014. Steel product inventories decreased 0.8 percent from last month.

Meanwhile, Canadian service center shipments of steel products decreased by 6.6 percent in April from April 2014. Steel product inventories decreased of 3.6 percent from last month.
