Canada’s Samuel, Son & Co. to acquire Doral Steel

Wayne Bassett, president and CEO of Mississauga, Ontario-based Samuel, Son & Co. Limited, and Cam Smith, chairman and founder of Doral Steel, have announced that Samuel will acquire Doral Steel. The acquisition is anticipated to close November 30, 2011.

Doral Steel is a flat-rolled steel distributor and has locations in Toledo, Ohio and Clinton, Tennessee. Samuel, Son & Co. is a value-added processor and distributor of flat-rolled, long and tubular steel products.
