Canada issues final AD decision on rebar imports from six locations

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has announced its final results concerning its antidumping (AD) duty investigation regarding certain concrete reinforcing bar originating or exported from Belarus, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Portugal and Spain.
 
Accordingly, the CBSA has calculated final antidumping margins ranging from 2.4 percent to 108.5 percent for the six locations. 
 
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) is continuing its inquiry into the question of injury to the domestic industry and will make an order or finding by May 3. Provisional duties will continue to apply on imports of the subject goods until the date of the CITT’s order or finding.
 
The products in question currently fall under the Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7213.10.00.00, 7214.20.00.00, 7215.90.00.90 and 7227.90.00.90.
