CAAM: China’s auto output up 6.2 percent in January-February

In February this year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China amounted to 1.6318 million units and 1.5933 million units, down 28.7 percent and 31.3 percent month on month, while decreasing by 0.4 percent and 0.2 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) on March 10.

In the January-February period of the current year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China amounted to 3.9191 million units and 3.9129 million units, up 6.2 percent and 4.3 percent year on year, with these growth rates down 5.2 and 6.5 percentage points respectively compared to January-February 2014.
