In April this year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China amounted to 2.138 million units and 2.084 million units, down 17.9 percent and 18.1 percent month on month, while decreasing by 1.9 percent and 2.2 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
In the January-April period of the current year, production and sales of automotive vehicles in China totaled 9.271 million units and 9.086 million units, up 5.4 percent and 4.6 percent year on year, respectively.
