In May this year, China’s auto export volume totaled 70,000 units, up 3.9 percent month on month, while increasing by 25.6 percent year on year, including 46,000 passenger vehicles and 24,000 commercial vehicles, up 26.8 percent and 23.4 percent year on year, respectively, as announced by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).
In the January-May period of the current year, China’s auto export volume totaled 316,000 units, rising by 28.2 percent year on year, including 219,000 passenger vehicles and 97,000 commercial vehicles, up 39.5 percent and 8.4 percent year on year, respectively.
