In June this year, the output volume of Great Britain's construction industry increased by 0.2 percent month on month, following a month-on-month decrease of 1.3 percent in May, and rose by 1.3 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, constituting the 25th consecutive month of year-on-year growth, according to a report released by the UK-based Office for National Statistics (ONS). In June, new work rose 0.2 percent, while repair and maintenance remained stable, both month on month.
Contruction output in Great Britain in the first half of this year were estimated to have increased by 1.3 percent compared to the same period of 2014. In the same period, new work was up by 1.47 percent, while repair and maintenance recorded an increase of 1.1 percent, both year on year.
