British construction output down 0.2 percent in Nov from Oct

In November last year, the output volume of Great Britain's construction industry decreased 0.2 percent month on month and rose by 1.5 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, according to a report released by the UK-based Office for National Statistics (ONS). In November, new work was up by 0.3 percent, while repair and maintenance decreased 1.1 percent, both month on month.
 
Construction output in Great Britain in the September-November period of last year increased by 1.6 percent year on year and was down by 0.1 percent compared to the previous quarter. In the September-November period of last year, new work was up by 0.5 percent, while repair and maintenance recorded a decrease of 1.3 percent, both on quarter-on-quarter basis.
