British construction output down 0.2 percent in January from December

In January this year, the output volume of Great Britain's construction industry decreased by 0.2 percent month on month and fell by 0.8 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, according to a report released by the UK-based Office for National Statistics (ONS). In January, new work fell by 0.8 percent, while repair and maintenance increased by 0.8 percent, both month on month.
