Brazil's
iron ore export volume amounted to 31.18 million mt in July this year, increasing by 5.53 percent compared to June and up five percent compared to the same month of 2013, according to the information released by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
Brazil's
iron ore export value in July totaled $2.19 billion, decreasing by 5.45 percent compared to the previous month and down 18 percent year on year.
In July,
Brazil's export volume of semi-finished products of iron and steel amounted to 643,200 mt, increasing by 37.98 percent compared to the previous month and up 140 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, while these exports were valued at $341.6 million, increasing 37.3 percent compared to June and up 148.26 percent year on year.
Meanwhile, in July
Brazil's flat steel exports totaled 129,000 metric tons, decreasing 23.35 percent from June and up 26.72 percent year on year. The revenue generated by these exports totaled $108.7 million, decreasing by 9.42 percent month on month and up 26.1 percent from the July 2013 level.
