Brazil's iron ore export value in July this year rose by 7.34 percent compared to the same month last year, increasing to $3.7 billion, according to the information released by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. Brazil's iron ore export volume amounted to 27.3 million mt in July with an increase of 7.1 percent compared to June this year and of 6.8 percent compared to the same month last year.
In July, Brazil's iron and steel export volume amounted to 634,600 mt with a decrease of 15.2 percent compared to the previous month and an increase of 66.1 percent compared to the same month of 2010, while these exports were valued at $438.9 million with an increase of 105.2 percent year on year but down 15.3 percent compared to June this year.
