Brazil’s civil construction activity improves in October

Activity in the Brazilian civil construction segment rose from 36.7 points in October 2015 to 40 points in October this year, in a scale from zero to 100, in which values above 50 show growth, according to Brazil's confederation of industries, CNI.
 
The level of activity in the Brazilian civil construction segment declined on a month-on-month basis, diminishing from 41.5 points in September.
 
The utilization of the industry’s capacity in October declined from 57 points in October 2015 to 56 points in October this year, and from 57 points in September this year.
 
The indicator that measures the number of job positions in the industry rose to 37.7 points in October this year, up from 35.6 points in October 2015, but down from 39.7 points in September this year.
