Brazil’s civil construction activity improves in November

Brazil’s civil construction activity in November rose to 39.3 points from 33.6 points in the same month of 2015, in a scale from zero to 100, in which values above 50 show growth, according to the country’s confederation of industries, CNI.
 
The level of activity in the Brazilian civil construction segment declined on a month-on- month basis, diminishing from 40 points in October.
 
The utilization of the industry’s capacity in November remained at 56 percent in November, same level seen in October this year.
 
The indicator that measures the number of job positions in the industry rose to 36.8 points in November this year, up from 35.7 points in November 2015, but down from 37.7 points in October this year.
