Brazilian iron ore producer MMX posts net loss in H1

Brazilian iron ore producer MMX saw its net loss rise to BRL 6.5 million in H1 this year, from a net loss of BRL 1.05 million in the same period of the year prior.

The company said operating revenues in H1 reached BRL 227,000, as opposed to expenses of BRL 9 million in H1 2016. MMX did not report operating revenues for H1 last year.

MXX reported BRL 32.9 million in financial expenses in H1 2017, down from BRL 36 million in H1 2016.

MMX is currently under bankruptcy protection.
