Brazil rejects request to end AD duty on stainless CRC imports

The Brazilian industry and foreign trade ministry's commerce chamber, Camex, has announced that it has rejected a request to revoke Brazil's antidumping (AD) duty on austenitic stainless steel cold rolled coil imports from Germany, China, South Korea, Finland, Taiwan and Vietnam.
 
Camex stated that it will conduct reviews to monitor prices every six months starting from June 2014.
 
As SteelOrbis previously reported, the antidumping duty imposed on the said products in October 2013 varies from $235.59/mt up to $1,076.86/mt.
 
The products subject to the antidumping duty order fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7219.32.00, 7219.33.00, 7219.34.00, 7219.35.00 and 7220.20.90.
