Borusan restructures stainless activities

Turkish steel and pipe producer Borusan Group decided to restructure its stainless pipe and section production under a new company bearing the name Borusan Paslanmaz Celik Boru ve Profil A.S. Prior to the restructuring, Borusan had conducted its stainless activities under the name Kerim Celik. The group established a plant for Borusan Paslanmaz Boru ve Profil A.S. in 2004. The plant boosts an annual capacity of 10'000 tons of pipe and section production. Its output ranges from stainless steel pipes with diameters varying between 10 mm and 114 mm to stainless steel hollow sections with diameters varying between 10x10 mm and 60x60mm. Borusan Paslanmaz Boru ve Profil A.S. will serve the food, chemical, medical, decoration, furniture and automotive industries in both the domestic market and the Greek, Bulgarian, Egyptian, Israeli, French and Iranian markets.
