Borcelik revamps HDG line

Turkish producer Borcelik announced that the company will increase the capacity and the quality of its second hot dipped galvanized line with the modernization investment started in February 2006 to meet the demand of home appliances and building sector. The investment, which is scheduled to be completed in May, will increase the annual production capacity to 150,000 tons. The new modernization investment will allow company to use the current technology with blast system. The modernization project will also help company increase the quality and homogeneity of coated surfaces, improve the lock-forming of coated surfaces, control more sensitive coated amount and produce in thicknesses ranging between 2.00-4.00 mm.
