Byelorussian Iron and Steel Works' (BMZ) pipe rolling plant has reached the designed capacity of 20,800 mt of hot-deformed seamless pipes per month, following the completion of the plant's equipment adjustment, the optimization of pipe production processes, the successful testing and the acquiring of international quality certificates for its pipe products.

Currently, BMZ's pipe rolling plant is operating in line with the company's production schedule, created on the basis of received orders.

In 2008, BMZ's pipe rolling plant produced more than 73,000 mt of pipes for machine building, construction and oils and gas industries. More than 80 percent of its pipe products BMZ exported to 15 countries across the world.

In addition, BMZ is currently caring out the reconstruction of its steel smelting facility, in order to start manufacturing round billets for its pipe production. As a result, BMZ will be able to decrease the production costs and to increase the output of its electric steel smelting and rolling shops. Moreover, within the next five years, BMZ plans to set up the production of specially rigged pipes for oil-producing industry.
