Belarusian Iron and Steel Works (BMZ) has announced its plans to halt production operations at its rebar producing mill 320 for a period of 10 days in October in order to carry out reconstruction work. Accordingly, the monthly production level of the mill in question is expected to drop to 55,000-60,000 mt in October.

In addition, during the same month BMZ intends to stop its EAF No. 2 for a period of 30 days for reconstruction work. In connection with the reconstruction at the EAF in question, the plant's monthly crude steel capacity is expected to decline to 180,000 mt in October.

Moreover, in November BMZ will reconstruct its EAF No. 3, which will be stopped for this purpose for a period of 15 days.
