Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Benxi Iron and Steel Corporation (Benxi Steel) has stated that in the current year up to April 23 it supplied 1 million mt of hot rolled coil and sheet (HRC/HRS) to South Korea-based re-roller Union Steel.
Benxi Steel began supplying HRC and HRS to Union Steel in December 2004. Union Steel mainly produces cold rolling sheet, galvanized sheet and color coated plate.
