Belarus posts increased metallurgical production for Jan-Apr

According to data released by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, in the first four months of the current year Belarus increased metallurgical production by 1.8 percent compared to the same period of last year to BYR 12.480 trillion ($1.5 billion) .

In particular, in the given period crude steel production in Belarus increased by 2.7 percent to 942,600 mt, the output of rolled steel went up by 1.8 percent to 866,800 mt, while production of steel pipes rose by eight percent to 81,800 mt, all on year-on-year basis.
