Chinese steelmaker Bayi Steel's 1750 hot rolled unit has successfully rolled high-quality X80 pipeline steel which meets a high technical standard.
X80 pipeline steel, a grade of steel plate with high strength and high corrosion resistance, is exclusively used in transporting oil and natural gas. Also, it is the main steel plate being used in the West-East Natural Gas Transmission Project in China's Xinjiang region.
