Baotou Steel increases galvanized coil prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On October 17, 2006, Baotou Steel adjusted its ex-factory prices of galvanized coil, increasing them by RMB 100/mt ($13). After the adjustment, the new price of 1.0 mm SGCC galvanized coil, effective from October 17, is RMB 5,300/mt ($670) including 17 percent VAT. Baotou Steel is based in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China and it has 5 million metric tons per annum steel production capacity.
