Baosteel Group produces austenitic stainless steel pipe at 460 PQF mill

Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group has announced that, with the help of Baosteel Research Institute, its Tube, Pipe and Bar Business Unit has successfully produced 356 mm x 16 mm austenitic stainless steel pipe at its 460 mm premium quality finishing (460 PQF) mill. Accordingly, the mill is now capable of producing carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel products.
