Baosteel will continue to strengthen its auto sheet production

Chinese steel giant Baosteel has lately announced that, given the continued positive performance of the auto sheet market, it will continue to expand its work on production and sales of auto sheet, as well as on improving the quality of product and service in order to sustain its market share.

In 2009, Baosteel's production and sales volume of auto sheet reached 4.19 million mt, increasing 20 percent year on year, while its domestic market share of cold rolled auto plate exceeded 50 percent, and its market share for outer panels and high-strength steel plates for automobiles increased steadily.
