Baosteel Special Steel ships 1,150 mt of CRA tubing/casing in Jan-Sept

Baosteel Special Steel Business Unit shipped 1,150 mt of corrosion-resistant alloy (CRA) tubings and casings in the first nine months of the current year, as announced by Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group.
 
The corrosion-resistant alloy tubings and casings are mainly for application in gas wells containing the presence of highly corrosive substances such as CO2, H2S and chloride ions.
 
Baosteel stated that it has continued to develop products for the energy sector and that its high quality OCTG products have gradually replaced high-priced imported products.
